Attitude of Gratitude

Yesterday was Thanksgiving and a happy one it was. I was able to spend it with a few of those I am most thankful for. I was in Minnesota with my oldest sister Alex & her hubby & two beautiful kiddos. As well as my parents! It was such a fun time & is always a day that reminds you how blessed you really are. I like to remember how thankful I am for my life & the blessings that fill it everyday but today is a day we can make sure we remember. Apart from being most thankful for my family, friends & my Father in Heaven & Jesus Christ, I am thankful for clothes. I love them & fashion has always been a part of me. So I have here a few photos of my Happy Turkey Day & my thanksgiving look.

My sister Alex is the next Martha Stewart & has created the cutest Thankful Tree to help her little ones remember what they are thankful for. We all got to fill out a few leaves & share what we are thankful for. I am thankful for these beautiful people & my other two sisters & bro-in-law we are missing.

An attitude of gratitude is something we must have all year round. The holidays though bring out our love & gratitude for family, friends, and all other blessings. I love the holidays the most & I am very thankful for the extra love in the air & the extra time spent with my family.

I am also thankful for the change in weather & the fun fall/winter fashions that come with the season.
This Thanksgiving I  had a little bit of a different look, I am queen dress-up, any chance to get all dressed up for a fun fancy day I love. This year I changed it up with a little more of a fall casual look. My new Madewell black turtleneck was a must for turkey day & was purchased with this holiday in mind. Next I had just bought these target boots a day before thanksgiving & I have been living in them ever since. With a little touch of my favorite trend crazy socks, the new lumberjack flannel is one of my favorites, adding that crisp fall look. My watch is from the dapper DanielWellington & was a subtle classic touch. A comfy casual look is something I would recommend when your night is spent stuffing your face!
I am thankful for a family who accepts that I am a little goofy!

I really love thanksgiving & the fun family, fashion it adds to a Thursday!
Happy Thanksgiving, but now  let's get ready for Christmas!
